Ah, Ah. Hi, Greetings from Michigan. Well, where do I start? I've been playing a lot of Pokemon lately - haven't really touched the franchise much for many years besides a short revisit of Pokemon Sun a few years ago that didn't amount to anything - kind of rejuvenated my memory a bit. Certainly, a fantastical world that many are partial to thanks to its thematics.

I played a lot of Pokemon Sun when it was new and I gotta say this, if anyone knew a red colored guy who was sending people Magikarps via Wonder Trade; that might of been me and I am terribly sorry. I'm not joking when I say I got the inspiration for doing it from Team Rocket (the Anime trio) just to take valuable pokemon. It worked, but also backfired because I was at a point where like none of the cool high level Pokemon would even obey me (good on them ahahaha). Kid me was a jerk.

Not gonna do that kind of stuff nowadays though, that's just a mean, dirty tactic plus I know what I'm doing nowadays. Kinda…not really. I can just catch my own pokemon! Fantastic. I would say I could probably make more progress and have better teams nowadays then what I was doing back in the day even without me ruining Wonder Trade.

Putting aside the Wonder trade tomfoolery that probably doesn't paint a good light on me, I had Pokemon Red /Blue / Yellow on my 2DS but virtually never played them because of being pre-occuped with Sun (such a good game lol) and I was scared of Viridian Forest music of all things. I've kind of steamrolled through Red now, though. It's just a bit easy I think, but everything is there and there is something lovable about how janky it feels.

Water Type Pokemon have to be my favorites. I think it is just a fascination with their moves and advantages, and overall designs. Invokes the unexplored depths of the seas and oceans, the uniqueness of marine life, I feel. I generally like more "natural" Pokemon so it makes sense I would gravitate towards Water types for this reason, I think.

I came here since I have very few other outlets to talk about Pokemon in and it's kind of bemusing to me that there would even be a Pokemon forum with some degree of being official. Well, it doesn't hurt I suppose, although this forum seems to be in its infancy. Just wish there was more to talk about at the moment, but maybe I can be the one who provides that conversation piece.

To be frank, there are OTHERS here but I won't elaborate on that. You might see them with some weird "signed" comment though.
