So true! I DO NOT LIKE MICRO-TRANSACTIONS, like most of Unite. Pokémon just wants you to have a good time, though.

@MewpyTheFuecoco I feel like the mascot would probably be Jigglypuff. TPC likes using Gen 1 Pokemon as their app mascots. Plus it's already supposed to be able to put people to sleep, and it's already popular thanks to super smash bros… Milotic would be a great pick too though! Maybe there's an activity where you watch it's scales glisten in water... That'd be pretty soothing.

While TCG Pocket has a mode to do single-player battles, it's not really an RPG. There is the Gameboy TCG game though, which is an RPG modelled after the mainline games!

I mean the most likely would be snorlax but Pokémon sleep exists, maybe abra or something. If they want to go dark for a breathing game cubone…. that thing breathing to calm down… I am going to cry now lol😭

I want a follow-up to the Game Boy RPGs.

Live and Pocket cater to the multiplayer aspect of the games (however flawed the execution may be in the case of Live). But there is a lot of fun to be had in building up a deck over time from scratch, and facing a variety of opponents with greatly varying decks and strategies, many of which you are unlikely to see in real competitive metas.

Perhaps it is too niché, or they are afraid that it would compete with the real card game and the online apps, at least for the casual fans.

I'd like to see a dedicated game for Pokemon Contests or, ideally, the Pokeathlon. It's pretty clear that side activities just aren't going to be part of the mainline games anymore. And that's unfortunate because I really enjoyed the Pokeathlon in particular. I'd like to at least have something to do with my favorite Pokemon outside of the mainline games. Pokemon Champions is a good place to start, but I'd like some other ways to play.

Or, you know, roll the contests into Champions or something. I dunno.
