    Scarlet and Violet in my opinion. My favorites include Cascaraffa, Ogre Oustin, and Blueberry Academy. In Nintendo music I just looked through my Playlist and counted up each track from each game. Sword and Shield does have some bops like Slumbering Wield, Desicive Battle Eternamax, and Battle Tower.

    That's tough, as the Pokémon series has consistently maintained a quality soundtrack, and even the most recent entries have some great tunes. I might actually pick gen 8 or gen 9 for this one.

    I really enjoyed the music of Pokémon Black & White.

    I always liked Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. The island guardian and totem pokemon battle soundtracks are insane

    Gen 5 and Unova for me. Honorable mention to Gen 2(Trainer + Champion especially), Gen 4(Cynthia specifically), Gen 3(May’s theme) and Gen 1(where it all started, Trainer and Gym Leader theme specifically). Anything after that is simply not as good, although there is a gem here and there.
