When will we be granted the ability to play GLC decks against our friends? Not even asking for a casual mode though that would be nice, but the fact that I can't challenge my buddy and play GLC decks anymore post migration is disappointing to say the least.

This hasn’t aged that well... Now Pokemon TCG Live does include the Gym Leader Challenge (GLC) format, but yes still with some limitations.
