Hello Trainers.
The Pokémon TCG Live game client will be updated on May 27, 2025. The game will be offline starting at 8 AM PT (15:00 UTC) and is estimated to be down for 8 hours. Please see below for the list of changes:

All Trainers who log in to Pokémon TCG Live from May 29 to July 17, 2025, will receive the following items automatically added to their collection to celebrate the Eevee’s Prismatic Parade event:

- It's a Team Rocket takeover! There's a new dark theme in the menu.
- Team Rocket–themed music in the menu! There's special battle music and sound effects for when Team Rocket–themed cards are played or Knocked Out.
- New visual effects when Team Rocket's Pokémon and Team Rocket's Trainer cards are played.
- New visual effect when a Team Rocket's Pokémon is Knocked Out.
Cards
- Fixed an issue where players couldn't continue after using Alolan Exeggutor ex's (SSP #225) Tropical Frenzy attack.
- Fixed an issue where Area Zero Underdepths (SCR #131) was prompting players to discard excess Benched Pokémon after Knock Outs when replaced by Gravity Mountain (SCR #177).
- Tsareena V (FST #021): Fixed an issue where the attack damage of Queen's Orders was not increased by Pokémon Abilities that have damage-increasing effects, such as Kingambit’s (SVI #134) Leadership Ability, when those Pokémon were discarded by the effect of Queen’s Orders.
- Duraludon VMAX (SVE #123): Fixed an issue where the Skyscraper Ability failed to block Inteleon VMAX's (FST #079) G-Max Spiral attack after a Rapid Strike Energy (BST #140) was put into the player's hand.
- Fixed an issue where Chansey's (MEW #113) Lucky Bonus Ability wasn't functioning properly.
- Fixed an issue where Shuckle-GX's (LOT #017) Protective Shell Ability wasn't recognizing double Energy cards.
- Fixed an issue where Steven's Metagross ex's (DRI #145) X-Boot Ability incorrectly allowed Psychic and Metal Energy to be attached to Pokémon of any type.
Competitive/Economy
- New Battle Pass for Scarlet & Violet—Destined Rivals starting May 29 to July 17, 2025.
- Each day, there will be one daily quest that will be twice as difficult; however, the Trainer Point rewards will be doubled, for a total of 400.
General
- Fixed an issue where visual inconsistencies occurred throughout the client with text containing dashes and hyphens.
- Fixed an issue where players using a MacOS device would view a momentary navigation bar in the Terms of Use and Privacy Notice within the Overflow Settings.
