first thing is being a "good" artist takes patience and confidence. Like many other things.
To start look for something you want to draw and keep it as a reference. Get your paper and drawing material ready. Then look at what you want to draw and imagine basic shapes that it is made of. Lightly draw those shapes. If you need to draw small shapes or big shapes it doesn't matter. Just don't press with your drawing tool at all. You want it to be light. Then go in with drawing the lines that make up the figure pressing a little lightly So as any errors can be sorted out. I think the next step is to go in with detail and then do a light shading(bringing in shadows).
What helps a great deal is in person lessons. Or you can find a "how to draw" book at a library even. A lesson over the forums is pretty difficult to do.

1- Practice often. Your art isn't going to improve if you don't improve it.
2- Don't force yourself to draw. Remember that if you're not enjoying it and just forcing yourself to do it, not only are you not going to improve, you're going to start to hate drawing. Enjoying art is the most important part of making it.
3- Use references. Even professional artists who have been drawing for years sometimes need to have a picture of something when they draw it. Needing to use a photo for reference so you can know what the thing you're drawing looks like is normal.
4- Your art will look bad when you're a beginner. Don't be scared of your art looking bad and don't give up because you're not improving fast enough. NO ONE'S first drawing looks brilliant and perfect. It takes years, sometimes even decades to learn how to make good art. So don't feel disappointed if you spend months practicing but still can't draw the way you wish you could. I've been drawing for years and my art is still far from being good. It's normal for becoming a good artist to take years.
5- NEVER use AI image generation. Not only is the way the images are being generated very unethical, using AI and calling yourself an artist is like telling someone to use a microwave on some cold food someone stole for you and calling yourself a chef.
