The timer issue and a suggestion on how to fix it

Content creator Trainer Chip posted this issue in the new version, where basically the timer started running while animations were still going. Even worse, the Marnie animation is so long that it takes the entire timer.

There are some that argue that this is more true to tournaments and punishes slow play, but tournaments don't have a turn timer like that and, more importantly, don't have extremely long unskippable animations. My suggestion is to make the timer 5 seconds longer, add a 3-second buffer before the timer starts, and to speed up the animations and have the animations for both players take place simultaneously.

Allowing more actions to use clicking rather than dragging would also help a lot. I get that this is a mobile-first game, but even on mobile it makes more sense to just tap in a lot of cases. The slow animations and forced dragging make this app feel more like a "how to play" app than a serious simulator. Please take a closer look at other card game apps, including PTCGO, and try to fix the pacing to match those better.
