This game doesn't let us show off
You get measly thirty-card binders to show off a tiny fraction of what you have actually collected. That is, in contrast to a medal or trophy in your profile that outright tells the viewers that you have done things like collect an entire set. You get icons for big milestones like collecting an entire set, but most players don't know what these icons mean. You get a number-of-wins statistic in your profile, but no loss statistic to demonstrate a good ratio. You don't even get a tenure date to flex that you've been playing since launch. Lastly, ranked mode is more about sheer number of battles played and pure luck, than win ratio, deck piloting, or meta knowledge.
The reason it is designed that way, is because casual and new players don't like to see the fruits of people better or more dedicated at the game than them. Imagine having to stare at a 42% winrate in 200 games on your profile. Imagine having just started and staring at another players' profile that says they've collected every card in every tradeable set.
We are not allowed to flex our accomplishments in games like this because casual players envy-quit.
