Pokémon Champions

The new game Pokémon Champions to me looks very fun, but I haven’t seen a true consensus on what the general Pokémon community feels like on this new idea and direction. So, how do you feel about Champions, and do you like the direction that Pokémon company is moving towards with this new game?

This game seems like a good way to make Pokemon more interesting for competitive players. I plan on trying it out.

I have a bad feeling about it. I don't know exactly why, maybe it's because there's a higher chance turn based battles will never return because of it if they start using it in official tournaments. Maybe it's because we don't know how it will work, although there is 100% going to be some kind of subscription or gamepass thing since it's also a mobile game. And most importantly, we don't know how we'll get Pokémon. It's probably not going to be like Pokémon battle simulators where you just decide everything you want, considering you can transfer Pokémon to it, which is a little bit concerning in my opinion.

I'm guessing it'll be like Unite but mainline game battles, with seasons and other stuff. There's a chance we don't get a regional dex, or maybe you'll have to pay to get certain Pokémon like legendaries. I hope not.
