Any tips for high level raids in S/V

My friend and I were trying to beat the new tyranitar 6 star raid, and we got totally stomped. I was wondering if the forums had any tips for beating these stronger raids, as i'm trying to grind up candies and such for a semi-competitive team.

    PkmnCast has extensive coverage of raids(primarily 7 star) maybe you can use some of that knowledge for 6 star raids. :)

    This might be a little late, but in raids, its better that you just have set up pokemon. This sound obvious, but raid set up pokemon and competetive set up pokemon are very different. in competetive, you want strong attackers that can 1 Hit both oppnentopponents 2 Do a lot of damage and 3 support your team mate. In raids its important to know when to support. I would reccomenrecommend ceruledge and iron hands for beginners, and for further raids I would recommend having a raid counter for each type. I know your pain of grinding candies for teams, and I hope you reach your goal.
