Hardest Champion Fight?

had to remove the S/M/US/UM champion fight (Because that game doesn't really have a champion fight) and Base S/V (Because let's be honest it definitely isn't her) Because there's a 10 option limit on polls.

    From memory I think it was the one in Gen 2, grinded the longest for that one. But to be honest I don't think the champs were that difficult, I just think until Gen 6 the level curve shot up which in the later games became easier to deal with because of exp share. In my runs for the older Pokemon games I kinda neglect leveling up my other mons cause I get tired from grinding so by the time the champion comes around it catches up.
    In SV I literally beat 5/6 of the Champ's Pokemon with my Skeledirge.

    I haven't played the first two gens and the only gen 3 game I've played is Emerald which I haven't finished yet (I've played and finished most of the other mainline Pokémon games though), but in my opinion it's Cynthia in DPPt. I remember I used dozens of revives against her when I played Platinum for the first time.

    If we count postgame fights and aren't being specific about what kind of champion fight it is, it's a tie between BW1 Cynthia and HGSS Red.

    The poll didn't load anyway, so limiting it to ten options is redundant. Why have they not been fixed yet.

    I also don't understand why we are arbitrarily excluding certain characters because they are not technically "the champion" in universe. The last fight of the game that makes you the champion is the champion fight.

    Didn't Hau actually become the first Champion in USUM, so even if you exclude Kukui, doesn't he still match the definition of a champion. At least as much as Green/Blue in the first game.

    Anyway, as much as I personally dislike her and find her boring as a character, I think Cynthia deserves her reputation as the toughest champion. She has a good team and its a good fight.

    Cynthia was really the only one I struggled with

    Also, the reason I specified BW1 Cynthia is because I find it easier to train Pokémon in BW2 and have never tried the hard difficulty (meaning I can't judge the hard mode fight). And DPPt Cynthia because BDSP are easy. Even the post game Cynthia fight that's supposed to be the hardest. HGSS Red because I have never played GSC and find the SMUSUM Red fight easy.
