I just really want be able to play on my iPhone
I know I'm not the only one who feels this, but I was really hoping the "exciting news" this week was going to be an iOS release. It's been more than a month since the beta launched, and I for one am pretty happy with how the game works. There are lots and bugs and issues here and there which is to be expected from a beta. I don't even mind these things at all really. I just see them as a small price to pay to be able to play the game early which I feel very privileged to do as a Canadian player. I play a bit on an old Android device I have and I actually really like the feel of playing it on a phone. That is exactly what I've been hoping we would get for years now, but now I'm an iPhone user and I'm not going to carry an extra phone barely usable phone around with me to be able to play this game more. I don't really have a problem with the in-game economy. I wouldn't say it's perfect but it's not a bad way to to F2P and I like that it incentivizes me to play a lot to earn more cards as opposed to spending most of my time in the trade section of the app doing arbitrage to earn packs to get playable cards.
Also that tease from last week was just rude. What we got yesterday would have been a pleasant surprise if not for the post from last week. Instead, it ended up feeling pretty disappointing.
In short, I'm actually super happy with this app all things considered and that's why I want it on my phone and iPad. Please, please, please just tell us when the iOS version is coming or explain why it's taking so long. All of this "soon" nonsense is at best pointless and at worst actively frustrating. Maybe you've tried to put it out and you're having issues with Apple. If that's the case, tell us. Then I can be annoyed by Apple instead of Pokémon.

I'm not even sure if what we got yesterday was the exciting news. I didn't want to think it was, but at this point I feel like we should have heard something if it wasn't.
