Z-A Switch 2?

So on the Pokémon website it says that Z-A is getting an enhanced, switch 2 version? I'm not sure what this means, exactly. If switch games are compatible with the switch 2, why bother making multiple versions? What's enhanced about the Switch 2 version? Does anybody know?

Graphics.

Oh. Duh. 🤦♂️

Seriously though, why bother making two versions? It feels unnecessary, and I know I'm just going to get whichever's cheaper.

Maybe it's not 2 separate versions

I mean it's the same thing between a PS5 version and PS4 edition of Playstation games, personally I'll probably get the switch 2 edition because Legends Z-A does look pretty graphically intensive and I want to be able to pay the game without it lagging or overheating my Switch, but I do completely understand getting the cheaper one (I think the games in my area are supposed to be cheaper).

It means "give me your money".

Seems like a strange idea to do two versions of practically the same thing. Unless there's some kind of bonus content in the Switch 2 version, I'm just going to buy the switch 1 version because it's probably cheaper

I wish it worked like Gold and Silver or Black and White did. One cartridge, one version of the game, compatible with the older hardware that simply gave you enhanced features and graphics when used with the newer hardware.
But this is a company that is happy to sell two versions of the same DLC for two versions of the same game. Of course they wouldn't miss an opportunity to charge you more.
