My life as a gym leader-part 3
Today was quite possibly the biggest day of my life! It all started during my last post when Shauna, came to my gym and challenged me! I instantly recognized her from the parade in Lumiose City about 7 years ago! I don't really believe in love at first sight, but If I did, this was probably it.
After she utterly crushed me in battle, she gave me a letter from Professor Sycamore saying that since I never had the opportunity to pick a starter Pokemon like most other trainers, I was invited to do so now. It said to meet him in Lumiose City in a couple of days.
Shauna said that she was going there too, with a couple of her friends as well and told me to come along. I played it cool and declined, (You don't want to sound too eager, ya know?). She said that if I change my mind and decide to come with she would be waiting with her friends on route 3.
After she left, I felt a deep sense of loneliness come over me. I couldn't possibly stay in that gym any longer! So I packed a bag, sent my aunt a holo-caster message telling her I was leaving, and set off on my quest! After almost a full day of walking, I made it to the camp!
As soon as I got there, Shauna introduced me to her friends; Calem, Serena, and Tierno. Serena and Tierno actually sound like decent people, but that Calem, he just gets on my nerves so much! The way he's always talking down to me and always hanging out with Shauna, GRRRR! It just makes me so mad!
I've never had friends before, maybe this is just what its like? I really want to get close with these people but their just making it so hard! After everything that's happened today, I would say today was the best day I've had in a while! It wasn't what it could have been but tomorrow will be so much better I hope!
