Why Ash always got 10 years?

Our Ash from Pallet Town will always be 10 years old in all seasons without the intrusion of the Kalos season, that is GOD, but returning to the subject that I think the Japanese want to destroy our nostalgia, only that all 25 seasons are ALL IN SUMMER.
