I feel like I have been betrayed after this update. The time and money I spend has had not value. You just cannot make drastic changes to the economy of the game 1.5 months after the feature release.

The Trading feature should have been rolled out to a select regions for testing or at least players should have been informed that we are in Beta Testing and the feature currently is very unstable and there might be drastic changes.

I am saying this because I have destroyed all my cards to get tokens and now you are telling me that they will be converted into shinedust?

Please test features properly before releasing it worldwide.

What problem is this going to fix?

    1. Players don't have enough tokens for trading high rarity cards? Could have been fixed with quests that reward tokens.
    2. The want for less currency? Fair
    3. Players not having all the cards? Most are going to be missing the highest rarity and thus still be unfulfilled.
    4. They want to touch trade to fill the dex? Players should be able to fill the dex with just opening packs. but now players are missing shine dust for flair. Players don't care about flair? We should work on enticing them
    5. i want foreign language cards through wonder trade. Should we allow wonder trade to also cost shine dust?
    6. should promo rerolls also cost shiny dust?
    7. Should we allow creating cards with enough shine dust?

I don't wish these changes. I just think the designers had some idea of why and how Trade Tokens work. Yes less currencies in time is better. I want a better game. But Ranked isn't released yet. If Ranked comes out before this change than you can ignore this post.

Unfortunately this is subpar. The reason being trading shouldn't be restricted. And def shouldn't take you all 6 months to get rid of the tokens. Should be a fairly simple fix to

    1. Give all users a bonus for getting rid of cards for tokens.
    2. Allow users to convert tokens to stardust
    3. Get rid of flair it's useless if it doesn't stay animated the whole game
    4. We should be able to trade any card. I have opened up over 80 packs and can't pull anything from the latest set and I won't be able to trade for them till the next one drops. Meanwhile I'm still missing tons of cards from the previous sets
    5. The premium pass needs a total upgrade. You all went extremely lazy after the first 2. Now we get very minimal hours glass tokens
    6. Pack points need to be increased it all in the same pool. The concept doesn't work. 1 it will take opening too many packs to redeem for anything good and once I redeem those points I'm not going to try and open packs for that set again

I think it would also be a good idea to offer several trades at the same time instead of just one. The restriction of trading only with friends is also underwhelming. What about adding a Feature like GTS or Wonder Trade similar to the Video Games?

To avoid problems with self-trading or bots:

2 stars and promo cards exchanges should only be authorised for premium users!

Sorry to be that guy, but what happens with the people who have been spending money on the game specifically to obtain those cards? I understand that it may be necessary to introduce a trading system, but there should also be the possibility to exchange 2-star rarity cards and crown rarity cards for pack points. It would be another way to complete the collection.

This is the right way forward for Pokemon TCGP. It is great to see the game listening to the community feedback. This gives me confidence that other feedbacks such as the ones I'm about to give will also be looked upon. Of course, it would be great if this trading improvement will be released earlier than the end of Autumn.

Please work on other quality of life changes as well such as Dark Mode and more battle deck slots than 15. Thank you!

-I think that exchanging 2-star cards should be reserved for premium users.
It's a good way of avoiding the self-trading problem.

-As far as the price is concerned, it should be calculated according to the number of 2-star cards you think the player can exchange in a month and a half (the lifespan of a set).

-Immersives and crown rares should remain for opening packs only, in my opinion.

Since we can wishlist cards and they will show with a heart symbol in wonder picks, it would be helpful to implement the wishlist feature when you are trading so you can see what cards the other person wants!

    Dear DeNA

I sincerely appreciate the ongoing updates and improvements to the game. However, I’d like to highlight a concern regarding the removal of trade tokens.

Many players, including myself, have already burned our cards to obtain trade tokens. Now that trade tokens are being removed, we believe it would be fair for them to be converted into an appropriate amount of Shinedust. Supposedly, if trading a 4-diamond card will require 10K Shinedust, then our 500 trade tokens should be converted into 40K Shinedust (following a 4x conversion rate because we burnt 4 or 5 cards to be able to trade 1 card).

This adjustment would ensure that players who previously invested in trade tokens do not face a disadvantage due to this system change. I hope you will seriously consider this feedback and provide a fair update for the affected players.

Thank you for your time and consideration
