why am i not going against someone my level?

I don't know if its just me or its something that everyone had gone through and find it normal now but, why am I not going against a new player like myself? I played rank several times and all I've been going against are monsters that one shot my Bidoff. Have some mercy on em😭😭😭…

    Because there are less people playing after they finnish their Battle Pass, also less players because the game has too many bugs and a lot of people spend time in TCG Pocket too… to add more to that not many new players join because it isn't new player friendly at all.

    So in general the game is losing its player base each day and of course the matching mechanism is also very poorly implemented.
