Maintaining a Fair and Enjoyable Battle Environment

Thank you for playing Pokémon UNITE.
The operations team is committed to promoting fair play so that all Trainers can enjoy a fair and fun gameplay experience. In the past, we have implemented the Fair-Play Point system and a detection feature for battle abandonment. To further improve the battle environment, we have been gradually strengthening penalties for inappropriate behavior.
We are enhancing our monitoring of report histories and taking actions such as significant reductions in Fair-Play Points, restrictions on ranked matches, and account suspensions for the following behaviors:
- Battle Abandonment: Intentionally ceasing control or disrupting the match during battle.
- Acts Benefiting the Opposing Team: Intentionally getting knocked out or engaging in actions that create an advantage for the opposing team.
- Disruptive Behavior Toward Teammates: Hindering teammates’ movements, intentionally blocking goal attempts, or otherwise disrupting team coordination.
- Excessive Use of Quick Chat: Spamming Quick Chat excessively with the intent to annoy or disrupt teammates.
- Offensive or Inappropriate Chat: Sending messages or making statements that other Trainers may find offensive.
These behaviors not only ruin the experience for Trainers who are serious about enjoying battles but also take away from the overall enjoyment of the game. Continued inappropriate behavior can make it difficult for teams to coordinate and prevent fair battles from taking place.
When reporting inappropriate behavior, please use the in-game reporting function rather than the support page. Utilizing the reporting feature on the results screen after a battle allows us to assess the situation more accurately and take appropriate action.
It is important to submit reports based on valid reasons. Malicious or excessive reporting can interfere with the proper functioning of the system. Therefore, repeated intentional false reports may also result in penalties.
The operations team will continue working to ensure a fun and enjoyable environment for all Trainers.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a fair and comfortable battle environment by respecting one another.
Thank you for your continued support of Pokémon UNITE.
