Predictions for the next Z-A trailer/info?

Honestly, I feel like I can't wait till Pokémon day. We've been waiting for any new information about Z-A for almost a year now, nothing new has been revealed AT ALL since Pokémon Day 2024. We didn't even get any hints. We still don't know anything about it other than that it takes place in Lumiose City, that Megas are implied to be in it, and that Lumiose is getting renovations. We don't even know when it takes place. It could take place right after the player becomes champion in XY, it could take place over a century ago, it could take place a century after the events of the XY games.
I'm predicting that in the next trailer (hopefully on Pokémon Day 2025) we'll see the starters, some important characters (including the player characters), and some hints about what the story is actually going to be about. And probably a release date since they said it's going to release in 2025. Also maybe a new mega or a few.

Yeah I agree with your predictions, I'm really curious about the starters 'cause they can go so many routes with it:
- Kalos starters with new final forms/megas
- Starters from different regions with new final forms/megas
Any combination of those or even everything in one. I also think that like in Legends Arceus, the trailer will reveal new mounts and regional forms in general (hoping for new Furfrou trims personally). Just a couple more days now, it's gonna be so hype!

I really hope they just reveal the starters and nothing more. I want to delay any information on the game for as long as possible. This includes the gameplay trailer because we will see fashion and that is a big giveaway.
does this make me a bad person? Maybe 😏

All I want to see is a stable framerate. Generally I do not prioritise graphics. Nice graphics are nice, but gameplay and story take priority.
However, the past decade of games have grappled with low framerates, culminating in the slideshow we saw in the SV trailer.
Assuming we see real gameplay in the trailer, the stability of the framerate will be one of the biggest indicators as to whether this extra time has been utilised effectively, or whether they are putting out the same jank, just slower.

y'know I'd like to see the return of a Pokedex with no reused pokemon again like in black and white. Though admittedly I played it after moon & ultra sun, y, platinum, and then I played black and white 2. It is unfortunate I didn't give the games the time they deserved. Though I do imagine I'll return to them.

@Eremas Unfortunately BW were the worst selling games in the series. I think GF's take away was never to do anything those games did again, especially the Pokédex.
Give everyone their mandatory Pikachu and their Charizard, shove in a few dozen new Pokémon, add a couple hundred returning Pokémon, and BOOM... Pokédex.
Then bring back a hundred or so more with each DLC, along with the old legendaries split between the two games, add a new legend and you have your full regional Pokédex.
This will be the way the Pokédex is managed for the foreseeable future.
