Which one would you rather have as a let's go series and which would you rather have as a legends game?

    Hoenn for both. Who would the star of a let's go game for Hoenn be? I thought for Unova it could be Cottonee and Petilil.

    Legends jirach would be good and a good way to get it, and they should have lets go Johto games

    Johto is the only region so far to have never been in a 3D mainline game iirc.

    Unless you count Kitakami from the SV DLC as a part of Johto, but that's not confirmed to be true (unlike BB Academy which is confirmed to be in Unova).

    I think the Pokémon Go fad is well and truly over. I doubt they will try and capitalise on it again.

    But if it were to happen, although Johto seems logical for another Let's Go, I wouldn't be surprised if they skip straight to Sinnoh. Game Freak seem to have a lot of love for Gen 4 and there has been a lot of content for it lately.

    For a Legends game, I think Johto makes the most sense. There are a lot of hints at ties relating to Sinnoh in HGSS, so it could connect to PLA. Celebi is established to have time travel powers, which could facilitate another time travel story, and a lot of GSC's story relates to events that happened in the past, so it is a good opportunity for the player character to experience them first hand.

    Perhaps it is my bias and hatred of gen 3 showing, but I do not see the appeal in another Hoenn game.

    my one hope is that they can put effort into any johto remake so it can be like heartgold and soulsilver in quality but not feel like its heartlessgold and souless silver in how they handle it or in other words I don't want this project to be given to ILCA
