rn old cards are totaly useless, back in the days I loved playing expanded mode as an ranked match. Is there any info about bringing back this feature?

No information as of yet
I think the Devs have given up on expanded at this point.
Hopefully we get it in the future though

The info we have is that Expanded isn't a priority for them, and knowing them for more than 2 years most likely the game will shutdown before they implement Expanded. So you can lower your expectations about that, 99% sure it won't be implemented.
