Z-A and Gen 10 cross gen?

Do you think that Z-A and Gen 10 will be cross gen. If so what will you think it will damage to the overall quality of the game. In my opinion, I think Z-A probably will release on the switch and a port for the Switch 2 will launch with with the switch game and that not much will be affected. I doubt Gen 10 would be cross gen but It might have started development already so the change to Switch 2 for development might effect it. (I haven't been keeping up with Z-A news so I won't be spoiled when I play the game, so I don't know if this has already been announced by one of the Pokemon brand holders)

Well, historically moving to a new console has always been a bumpy transition for Game Freak. Z-A will presumably still be a Switch 1 game and take advantage of the Switch 2's backwards compatibility. But if it is simultaneously released on both platforms, that will probably adversely affect the game.
Gen 10 is more likely to be a S2 exclusive, but either way I am expecting the first release on the new console to have issues, unless developing for it literally is just a Switch 1 with more power.

Might be interesting should it work.
