Charizard EX immune to Alolan Exeggutor EX attack "Swinging Sphene" ?

I've had two games where I use the attack "Swinging Sphene" with my Regidrago Vstar. I attack with the "Apex dragon" attack and Charizard EX is in the active spot, I flip heads and bam nothing happens! Charizard EX just eats it. I've been able to knockout other pokemon with the same rules on the card like other EX pokemon and those get knocked out. I reported it but am I missing something?
