I'm skeptical that Palkia ex is that useful. Druddigon has an ability that damages the attacking Active Pokemon for 20 HP, only 10 less than Palkia's weaker move. In addition, it only gives the opponent 1 point when fainted instead of the 2 that Palkia would as an ex.

I also see Garchomp as easily the worst dragon-type line since it is a stage 2 card like Dragonite but without as strong an attack. In fact, it is only 10 higher than Druddigon's attack while requiring only one less energy and evolution.

@DoubleCure I fully agree with your assessment of Dialga ex. Its capability to ramp up energy for Benched Pokemon, especially for Pokemon with colorless and metal attacks such as Mew ex, Pidgeot ex, Melmetal, and the new Yanmega ex. In fact, I was shocked by how fast Yanmega can attack compared to the Gyarados ex deck that I was using. That, along with its relative strength and girth due to being an ex as well as its versatility due to it using any type of energy.

Overall, this new expansion doesn't seem as good as the previous one.
