I would not make assumptions about any accessories and their compatibility. I am sure Nintendo are going to come out with a whole host of Switch 2 accessories, but whether the old Switch 1 stuff (or third party stuff) will remain compatible is yet to be seen.
If you are planning to buy a new Switch controller or something in preparation for the Switch 2, I would hold off until we have confirmation that they will actually work.

This is probably gonna take away my credibility permanently on this matter, but I actually like the wii u. I own one and it's a really good console

I really like that there adding a charging port at the top. Switch 1 made it impossible to charge it and use the stand.
