what pokemon am i describing with this riddle?
A strange Pokémon am i, i have many evolutions, to evolve for me is handy, i have many solutions. My colors can vary from red to green, i first appeared on 1 big screen!

I'm going with Eevee, because of the many evolutions part. Plus Flareon is red and leafed is green, so that fits. Many solutions could be talking about the different methods with which to evolve it. As for the one big screen section, I don't know what that means, but I wouldn't know no matter which pokemon I guessed.

Is it scizor? to evolve Scyther, you have to trade it while holding a metal coat, Scyther can also evolve into Kleavor, and scizor's shiny is green
