Is there a way to make friends in this game? I don't see an option anywhere unless im overlooking.

Yes, to add the friend to your friends list… go to your Profile and click FRIENDS button, then click ADD FRIEND, you type the their screen name in the text box and press Send. After they accept the request you can view them in your list and you can also challenge them to battle from that friends list.

we can play casual matches with friends, but that's it…if you want to chat with them, you'd have to use some other program like discord
