How to build a successful Dragon-Type Deck

Dragonite is a wrecking ball.

Dragonite deck is the only dragon type for now, it has potential and it's fun. But it's very slow because the amout of energy required... and it's also inconsistent because the way multi energy draw works (it's random).
So the best you can do is try to wall your dragon until it is setup… for that the 2 best options to me it's to pair it with Articuno/Misty or pair it with Weezing.
That said, be aware that in current meta this deck will always be clunky... so lets hope the upcoming mini set adds something to help multi energy decks and also more support to dragon/metal type.

Hello,
I have been using Dragon deck for a while now, with 60% win rate.Strategy is use Hypno to make enemy active Pokémon to sleep while you set up your Dragonite. Just make sure you unmark psychic energy when you create your deck, that what you will always get Electric or Water. Since Hypno doesn't require any for his ability.Core Cards:2x Hypno2x Dragonite2x Prof Oak2x Pokeball
let me know how it went for you.
After Psych Mewtwo deck this is second best for me.

I love dragon-type Pokémon, but I can't win many in a row, not only because I can't get the entire evolution line, but mainly because of the randomness of the energies. And to make dragon decks more consistent, I wanted this word to reach the game's creators so that they might think about putting something similar in the game.
1 example: 1 trainer that allows you to change the next energy to be generated, that is, if on the next turn it is a water energy, when using this trainer, the energy would become a fighting energy (in the case of the Garchomp deck) 2 example: a tool that can only be applied to dragons, and that makes the energies that the Pokémon needs to attack colorless, basically becoming a colorless Pokémon. (And it would remain in the game like the cape and helmet)0
