Pokémon Forum Edition: Part 11

As Esbern looks at the stone very intently he didn't hear a knock at the door. After a few seconds of waiting the knocker, Sophie, yelled through the door "Esbern its time to get up, I have some exciting news". Esbern, startled out of looking at the stone said "Uh, sure, 1 sec. Be right out". He quickly picked up his stuff and put the stone in his bag. He left the room and went to the lobby to find Sophie and Blake standing there. "Took you long enough" said Blake. "Yeah, sorry. I had-" Esbern replying and then being interrupted by Sophie "Its fine. We have some great news. Looks like whatever was going on in Virbank City is over now and there currently a bus ready to take people there. I already bought everyone tickets. And lets get a move on, the bus is about to leave". Then before anyone could respond Sophie started pulling Esbern and Blake out the doors and onto the bus.

After they had all sat down and the bus had started moving Esbern asked Blake "Did you get your Shiny Riolu from the Dream World?" Blake replied "What makes you say that?" "Well, I had the most strangest dream about a Professor Burnet and something about catching Dream Legendaries". Blake responds with a look of surprise "I had a dream similar to that just a couple of days ago. I had just assumed that it was a normal dream but it can't be if we both had it!" Sophie, entering the conversation, asked "Did you say Prof Burnet? I had heard that she recently had disappeared. Why was she in your dream?" Blake answered "She had said that had gotten trapped there and that the only way to get out was to catch the 8 Dream Legendaries." "Strange, I wonder what happened" said Sophie, "you guys will have tell me what happens if you go back in. " The driver then says that they were coming up on Virbank City and to be ready to depart. "Well, we should get ready to get off and explore the city. I hear that they have a great Amusement Park"

As they arrived they could see the damage done by the Hydreigon but it was already being quickly fixed. They got to the station, got off, and started toward the amusement park. As they walked down the road Blake noticed something in an alleyway. As Esbern and Sophie continued walking Blake took a look at what it was. It turned out to be some sort of black pokemon connected to a stone though something was wrong with it. It seemed to be fading in and out of solidity and etherealness. As he inspected closer he could see that the pokemon looked malnourished and all scuffed up. He held out his hand tentatively to pet it and found that the pokemon was shivering. Realizing that it need help he quickly got a cloth out and wrapped the pokemon in it. He then picked up the pokemon and gently ran out into the street. He looked around quickly for Sophie and Esbern and found them further down the street. He then ran to them and urgently said "I found this pokemon in an alley and it needs a pokemon center. Do any of you know where it is?" They both looked at the pokemon in concern and saw that it did look ill. Esbern then quickly remembered and said "there's one just a few streets over. Lets hurry". They then ran to the center and quickly told Nurse Joy who started taking care of it immediately. Right before she left she said "Don't worry. He'll be all healed up real soon".

After about 10 minutes Blake said to Esbern and Sophie "why don't you go ahead without me. I want to keep an eye on the little guy". Esbern responded "its fine we can stay". "No, you can go. This will take a while and there's no point in all of us staying here. You guy go have fun" Blake said. Sophie then said, "if your sure." Blake nodded and Sophie and Esbern headed out wondering why he had become attached to the pokemon so quickly.

After about an hour Nurse Joy came back out and said to Blake, "It a good thing you brought the Yamask at the time you did. Much longer and he might have been to far gone. He's currently resting right now but will make a full recovery". Blake then said "Good, I was worried. Does the pokemon have an owner?" "No, from the looks of it, Yamask had stowed away on a boat from the Galar region and traveled here. If you want you can come and have a look at him". Blake then said, "I would really like that". They then traveled to the room with Yamask. As Blake entered the room the Galarian Yamask woke and got all excited. The Yamask look already so much better. "The Yamask really seems to have taken a liking to you" Nurse Joy thought for a moment, "since it doesn't have an owner it could be yours if you wanted". Blake looked at Yamask hopefully, "would you like to be my pokemon". It shook its stone it excitement. "Then its settled, you will be my pokemon" Blake then took a pokeball out and put it infront of Yamask. It moved forward, touched the pokeball, and was sucked in. It shook once and chimed, filling Blake with joy. "Wonderful! From the moment you brought it in I could tell that it was the pokemon for you" Nurse Joy exclaimed.
