Why did Goh's Sharpedo never reappear in any episodes set after "Looking Out for Number Two!"?

I knew that Sharpedo has made its only physical appearance as in The Pokémon episode, "Looking Out for Number Two!" in which Goh has caught it as well as newly evolved Kingdra. Goh has kept Sharpedo at the Cerise Laboratory, even though Sharpedo has never reappear in any the episodes set after this episode. Now I wonder why you think that Goh's Sharpedo has never reappeared in any of the episodes set after the Pokémon episode, "Looking Out for Number Two!"? Please let me know, thanks.😉
