1. Ex cards are knocked down 2 just 1 points instead of 2 .
2 of 2 : if you can't do that . Change the 1 2 3 count to 1 2 3 4 . It will balance the game out and have better matches. Instead of 3 to win. Make it 4 to win .

That would lead to longer battles and that's not good at all… this is a mobile game and they made it the way it is to make it as fast and simple as possible.
And actually the opposite of you said is what they want, at least that's the way they frame it when the game was announced… fast battles less than 5 minutes long on average.
Not to mention that your 1st point makes no sense, if that was a thing "non ex" decks would have a terrible disadvantage… ex Pokemon are much more powerful that's why they get you 2 points.

i think we just have to adapt the playing style. After playing a few matches i see its a good strategy to either put a high hp base pokemon as your starter with just the goal of taking damage for you while you build up your ex cards on the bench. Or if your using more basic EX cards ( like exeggutor, pikachu) you can set up with 2 sets of them so you can pull the ex pokemon after doing your damage then not letting the opponent kill that ex. its a lot like chess. if you think enough moves ahead of what possibilities the opponent has and what counters you can do, you can make up for the EX losing 2 cards when defeated. im still a rookie though so take that with a grain of salt lol
