What should I buy to build a deck?

I currently do not have a physical deck, but I want to build one. What boxes are the best to get for it, and what expansion? I don't want to buy singles.

RN, the Gardevoir EX League Battle Deck is the best way to get started in the physical game. I would also recommend picking up some of the current Halloween boosters, since that's one of the easiest ways to pull baby Munkidori, Mimikyu, Scream Tail, and Dusk Mane. The Ace-Spec of choice is probably the only single you'll have to buy. Good luck my dude. 👍

If you don’t want to buy singles (which is the cheapest and most efficient way to build both. Deck & a collection), and you won’t buy a premade deck, then cost-wise the best way to get a lot of cards is to either buy a booster box or go to a local game store and ask for their bulk box. Then pick what you like. The meta is pretty set right now, so realistically buying either singles or a premade like the Charizard deck is better than randomly buying packs or boxes.

yeah I see what you mean. The main reason I don't want to buy singles is because I don't have a store near me to buy them. But Im still gonna try

Also, don’t miss the “Optimize” feature in your cart when you shop tcgplayer! It searches all your cards and looks for the cheapest total price. Has saved me a bundle when I buy singles, especially on shipping!
