Pokemon Pocket Kinda Repairs That Strategy Gap..?
I once again rise inactivity to bring you a review of Pokemon TCG Pocket…
It's good…ish? It's pretty much nicer when compared to other strategy-based mobile Pokemon games. Nonetheless, it's nice to see a fun little game that one could potentially enjoy for hours, if not days, if one plays their hourglasses right (or patiently waits nicely).
Nonetheless, its flaws are…there. It seems to be (possibly) much better in terms of getting Pokemon, due to its small roster, but may not be better than, per say, the Pokemon TCG on the Game Boy Color. Maybe this is just a pet peeve, since getting into the TCG started with the knowledge of it & its long lost sequel, but I do believe there should be alternative options for competitive gain, such as having specific packets for perhaps one or two types each.
…But that's practically the only one! I'm only just hoping that trading wouldn't have that very same time-based gap that other card-getting systems have, & I'll be okay.
(Also, there's a certain colorless type card that I'm very fond of…I think you can find out which by tinkering with your deck)

To me, it a fun quick version of Pokémon TCG. Don't let's the simplified, small bench, 20 card decks, 3 prize point and the rework with energy fools you. There are strategies building decks and playing them. Like my 2 Butterfree healing deck. There a few times that I about to lose, but come back full blast. I also hope trading come out soon as well.

I honestly think trade will create massive exploits, look at those youtubers (almost all the bigger TCG Pocker content creators) that created 10 accounts preparing for the trade feature… they even admit it.
Their followers that can do it are doing the same for sure. I believe that's why their are postponing it, to find the best way to avoid a lot of exploits. I really would love the trade feature but at the same time I'm not a fan of it due to the cheaters.
