Everyone references that. It happens so early in the manga. Have people actually read it, or do they just reference memes and plot points shared by people who only read the first couple of volumes?

1-Not really、there are a ton of more interesting stories in Pokémon.

2-If we got one、I wouldn't like a LONG series、I think something short is fine. If it's long and is just about Kanto、it's probably going to add so many pointless scenes and episodes that only exist to make it longer.
