Ladder rankings and relevance
today i made it to ultra ball for the second time since playing TCGO when i had a bit of a thought come through my head.
at what point would ladder rank be representative of top table? is there a clear line?
i ask mostly for my own curiosity, but i am prepping for a regional so i was kinda curious if what im seeing in Ultra is roughly what id see at like top 32 for instance. xD

The Ranked Ladder doesn't necessarily represent the skill of a player especially if only at Ultra League (for instance those who play a lot can climb up high the ledder even with a win rate below 50%).
That said, the decks you play against there will be mostly the top meta decks, so it's a decent place to do some testing for regionals yes.
But if you want to have a more competitive and closer to in person tournaments experience the best online testing place will be limitless online tournaments (you will have to choose the type of tournament carefully, like the format, open/closed deck lists, etc.)
