Why aren't cards from Base set to Skyridge available on the site?

Looking through the card database, the oldest set I see listed here is EX Ruby & Sapphire. Why are the WOTC era cards missing?

Probably because their playability is very hard to control, saying that all the cards that should be supporters would be played like items and other things from that era are really broken, for better or worse.
