Is there a fix for the "reset account" bug yet?

I'm wondering if there has been any news since the announcement in the Bugs forum on Aug. 28? The bug got me too so now I'm limited to using my laptop to play instead of my phone - which limits my ability to progress on the ladder and battle pass.
