Controller Support for mobile

Wouldn't it be in the best intrest of the playerbase to finally give us the option to connect a controller to our mobile phones and save us from sore thumbs as well as give us an even playing field against players on switch?
When I try to persuade others who don't own a Switch to try out Unite they refuse due to their hate for mobile touch controlls in games that often require precise Inputs.
Adding controller support would lead more people to try out the game in my opinion and it wouldn't hurt if we had more options to play a game we love amiright?
