I used to collect cards as a kid. I have thousands of first edition cards.
Here's an album with my cards, all basically in mint condition. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to sell them?
Here's my collection.

Not sure why this is in the Live forum rather than the TCG one...
But there are several common ways to sell trading cards.
You could try listing them on ebay. Take some photos of the front and back of the cards you are selling, list the name, set, etc. and hope the bids are high. Look at what other sellers sold their cards for to give you some idea of what to expect.
You could sell them on a site like TCG player, either selling them to an existing store for their buylist price, or selling them directly yourself.
You could take them to your local card game store. Many of them will buy single cards or collections. They will appraise them for you and offer a price.
Bear in mind that the prices you are offered will probably be less than the highest listings on ebay or TCG Player. You sacrifice some profit for the convenience of not having to find buyers yourself, worry about being cheated by faceless randos on the internet or the hassle of packaging and shipping off cards individually.
I have heard some whisperings that the letters "TCG" might stand for something. I assume "C" is cheese and "G" is grating, but the "T" might stand for trading. Perhaps you could try trading those cards you don't want for cards you do with friends or other players at an LGS for cards you do.
You could exchange them for money, but a lot of LGSs don't like it you sell cards on their business premises, which is reasonable.
