WHAT IS GOLURK?!!

Everyone knows that The Automaton Pokémon Golurk is a guardian of ancient ruins, but I realized that Golurk acts too much like a robot. In New Pokémon Snap, Golurk flies like a robot by putting his hands and legs inside his body so fire comes out of his wrists and torso to transform him into a rocket. So, if he is a guardian of ancient ruins, then why does he function like a robot?!! I think if he had a paradox form, it would be a future version known as Iron Mech.

Most likely Golurk and Golett were created in ancient civilization where technology's advanced enough to make pokemon in the form of a mechanical body.
