first shine a light through it if it goes through its fake secondly try to remember where you got the cards is it a legitimate location or is it more sketch thirdly is their any misspelling on the cards lastly what is the amount of rare cards if they all are rare it’s fake if you have no rares someone probably just took the rare cards out and put bulk and then returned it for a refund

I found a YouTube video and went thru some of the ideas, including checking the edges of the cards to see if there’s a black line sandwiched between the front and back faces as the genuine cards are 3 layer apparently 🤷🏻‍♂️. And yes my iPhone light was clearly visible thru the card. I have a full box of counterfeit cards plus 4 extra packs, 4 packs of each of temporal forces and another that I can’t remember the name of now. Packaged up and returning these trash cards for a refund. It was fun looking thru them though so I may get a full box of genuine now 🤷🏻‍♂️. Some people keep the box sealed as an investment but I’d be more for opening the packs to see if there’s something there worth having graded 🤷🏻‍♂️. It’s 6 of one half a dozen of the other. Can’t see individual cards ever being worth what the original sets go for but hey 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks for your advice, I’ll be more careful in future. Even the box seal had the pokeball logo all over it so it looked legit!
