ILCA or Game Freak?
Is ILCA returning to do the Black white remake or Pokemon will be strictly Gamefreak afterwards?

At this point I'd rather have neither. If they don't want to invest the time to remake the game well and would rather pump out a lazy 3D chibi version of the same game with the balance ruined by exp. share, just don't bother.
I would be interested to see what another studio could do with it. There are plenty of great RPG developers tied to Nintendo and their platform. But I fear Gamefreak don't want anyone else to show them up and put out a better Pokémon, so if another developer gets involved, they will be kept on a tight leash and not allowed to venture much beyond the scope of the original game.

@clasingla I doubt it due to Ilca's inconsistency.

Both, I think that ILCA has the potential to make Pokémon games, in fact, it is on the Pokémon Sleep team, and it wouldn't be a bad idea for a remake of Unova made by ILCA, but instead of leaving the remake Chibi and 3D, it could be a 2D-HD remake (2D mixed with 3D) would be great, I believe that ILCA is very good at creating games, Game Freak too, I think both ILCA and Game Freak are great Pokémon game developers

@YagoFuecoco maybe but best that ILCA stays off of Gen 6 and 7 remakes along with ORAS.

@Flametix I doubt it after the BDSP fiasco.

@MajorBrendan , I don't think Gen 6 and 7 will get remakes, because they don't need them anymore, I think Pokémon BDSP was the last remake anyway, but apart from this game, ILCA is very good at producing games, they were the ones who developed Pokémon Sleep, and the game is very incredible, I think ILCA could even develop a new one Pokémon spin-off.

There is a big difference between developing a mobile app and developing a full console game. Just because they can do one doesn't mean they can deliver on the other.
ILCA might not be entirely responsible for BDSP's problems, of course. They might have been saddled with insane demands or restrictions by TPC.
But I do not think we have enough evidence to conclude that they are the right choice to develop another Pokémon game, remake or otherwise.
