That depends on how Sakurai sensei is feeling.

I'd like to see a Pokemon from Paldea and Oatchi from Pikmin.

@MagicarpFisher9 A fellow PIKMIN fan?! Alright!

Throw in Kingambit.

I think Gengar is the most likely pokemon to make it to the next smash game; he has a lot of good potential for moves.
Neutral B: Shadow Ball
Side B: Shadow surf? I know that's not a real pokemon move but it could be something like Squirtle's side b except on shadows?
Up B: Maybe something like Wario's Up-b or something.
Down B: Lick (Can paralyze people but it's hard to hit.)

I don’t think they will choose gengar @OlderAngel11 they will probably choose one that is a gen 9 or 10 starter final evolution

@clasingla That is possible, but I think Gengar is a popular gen 1 mon that a lot of fans would enjoy to see in the game. As for your idea about the gen 9 or 10 starters, they could just reinvent the pokemon trainer fighter with all-new starters and an updated trainer that looks like the newer protaganists.

@OlderAngel11 the Pokemon representation in Smash Bros. is already skewed towards Gen 1, and there hasn't been a Kanto rep since Brawl with Pokemon Trainer, so I both hope and doubt that Sakurai would add any more Gen 1 Pokemon. Instead, I want to see representation from the spin-offs, like Ranger and Mystery Dungeon, since there is literally no Pokemon representation outside the mainline games.

@puplover1118 Haha maybe we can get a fighter that is just a team of pokemon from pokemon cafe.
