I don't want to care anymore.
im frustrated. I haven't haven't talked to anyone about pokemon in my real life in over ten years. I don't have the latest games or system because I spent my college years after a neglected childhood and turbulent teen years drinking alone. Then I stopped going to college and got a job to feed my addiction. Now I don't know what to do anymore.

Erm... this might be a little too heavy for a Pokémon forum.
If you are sincere in what you say, I think it would be a good idea to reach out to someone you trust and talk about these issues. Family, friends, colleagues... anybody you feel might be able to support and advise you.
Do not worry about Pokémon or video games. If they aren't making you happy, put them aside for now. You can always come back to them another time.
It sounds like you need to find something constructive and positive to focus your energy on. A sport. A hobby. A new skill. Anything.
If nothing else, I always find getting out of the house and taking a walk in the countryside helps me clear my head and relax when I am frustrated with life, work or anything else. Get away from it all and put things in perspective.
I do hope you manage to resolve these issues and feel better about yourself. There have been times when I have thought myself in a hopeless or desperate situation. We all go through those times. They do not last forever. There are better things the other side. It might sound like a hollow sentiment in the moment, but it is true.
Take care of yourself.

I hope it gets better for you. Sometimes life can be harsh, sometimes one feels awful and like everything is doomed, sometimes one doesn't know what to do about it, but these situations aren't dead-ends, simply very, very difficult to escape. I hope you have a good day.

Honestly I can't blame you feeling down. I've been feeling depressed myself, but I always keep one thing in mind.
Life will always get better.
