Softlock in Ruby?

I started a Nuzlocke and have gotten 3 badges alongside having spent hours grinding, I was battling the trainers near Rustboro and accidentally went down the ledge, meaning that I cannot climb back up, I then stupidly healed and headed to Mr. Briney's house, only to realize that he isn't there, is there a way for me to get back to Lavaridge?

    you can just go to rusturf tunnel and break the rock to get back to verdanturf

    I was reading to check to see if this is a soft lock and it is did you teleport to dewford town?

    The thing was talking about not getting back to petalburg though but it does mention the guy your talking about being gone
