    Yeah, sea slugs are pretty cool. Better than regular slugs, for sure. But Slugma is still one of my favorite mons. Gastrodon is pretty good, though.

    @UnovanZorua I’d say it’s the same as our world. Some are just publicly accepted as meat creatures (cows, pigs etc.) and some are just publicly known as pets without need of explanation (dogs cats etc). Though that line does shift a bit through different countries/cultures. I feel like no one would want or think about eating an arcanine, but wouldn’t hesitate to chomp down a tauros burger or emboar chops, but the line might shift a bit through culture.

    I can't imagine that. "trainers, we do not eat pokemon, for it is not uplifting or helpful. For that reason, I will be closing this thread."

    @Resilient30

    I'd imagine it's a lot more complicated than our world's way of viewing animals when the average pet breathes fire and some "animals" are almost humans and some are just sentient plants. Like, Sprigatito is a Grass type, right? And a cat. Is it a salad or is it a friend? It must be at least a little more complex since types and fictional creatures are involved.
