Thoughts on the lack of Bug-type Legendaries

Isn't it weird how every type has at least one Legendary Pokemon except for Bug? (The closest thing Bug has to one is either Bug Memory Silvally or the Mythical Pokemon Genesect.) Why do you think this is and what would you want a Bug-type Legendary to be?

For me, I think it's because Bug is seen as a weak type and would be counterintuitive if a Legendary Pokemon had the Bug-type. I would definitely want to see a Bug-type Legendary based on the bugs that Satoshi Tajiri used to catch and would later lead to the creation of Pokemon.

    @NoahLaprasForum I excluded UBs simply because I, and I know many others, don’t consider them to be Legendary Pokémon. Of course, there are people who do, but it would be nice to have a Bug-type Legendary without and strings attached.

    I think that we should get a bug type legend in gen 10, maybe as a sort of nod to Junichi Masuda?

    i think it would be cool to have a spider legendary a dark/psychic type that… oh wait it wouldn't be a bug legendary then!

    Yeah it would be cool to see something like that, just bug dark or psychic bug! Lots of possibilities for a bug legendary

    Actually I just realised that SV was a wasted opportunity. We could've gotten a cool Bug type legendary since bugs in the real world's ancient past were really terrifying and strong, but no. We got a motorcycle with scales, lots of feathers, and a tongue.
