Last time I checked when it comes to Paldea's elite four. The steel specialist, Poppy, looks like a kid. Many don't know about her age but she looks like a preschooler no more than 4 or 5 years old. That's really contradictory as the minimum age to be a pokemon trainer is 10 years old.

I’m pretty sure it says it In the teal mask dlc as an interaction and I looked it up and it said 9!!! How is she that old she looks 6 or 7 and talks like it too and red and blue who are supposed to be 10 don’t look that young

@clasingla for starter's she's extremely short to be 9 years old. Even if she's 9 she's 1 year shy of being a proper pokemon trainer.

@clasingla I did look it up and she's 1 year below the minimum age to be a pokemon trainer. 9 years old. But her height says 5 at most.

(I tried to post this earlier)

There isn't a minimum level for trainers as seen by several preschoolers and kids younger, there is also no set age for trainers starting as the black and white protagonists are 14 at the start of B/W

@MajorBrendan Correction the minimum age has only ever been specified in the anime since multiple preschoolers have battled throughout the series additionally there is no set age as to when a trainer starts their journey, Hilda and Hilbert started at age 16 and most pokedex holders in the manga are around 12

Also you can't make the argument that they are just kids with Pokemon, as one of the league challengers in sun and moon is very obviously a kid

I'm just referring to the Elite Four Poppy. I'm saying that she's so short that I could've mistaken her for a preschooler.

@MajorBrendan You were saying that the minimum age for trainers was 10 I was correcting it also the anime is the only thing that mentions trainer ages
