Was it a Bidoof from Crown Zenith? Its ability prevents damage when it's on the bench. This happened to me yesterday and created a thread about it but I was wrong.2 -

Duraludon Vmax disables any attack at all by Raikou 040/185 even though Raikou should have been able to do 120 damage to the bench.2 -
