    Not sure if you know, but if you go to to gift exchange in the unite daily missions tab, enter in the new pokemon's name, all caps without apostrophe, and you'll receive a free trial license. So far that has worked on every new pokemon that I have tried since before and through the megas. Some of the names gave three diff trial licenses but the codes expire and may no longer be valid. This newest one does work, I tried it. Now you don't have to "buy" a trial 😉
